Brattle Principal Michael Dansky to Participate as a Panelist and Chairperson at the 2nd Annual Intellectual Property for Medical Device Conference
Michael Dansky, a principal in Brattle’s Cambridge, MA office, will participate as a panelist and chairperson at the 2nd Annual Intellectual Property for Medical Device Conference on April 12-13, 2010 in San Mateo, CA. The conference will address best practices for top medical device executives in the development of IP documentation, protection of patents in the U.S. and abroad, and licensing of IP in commercial partnerships.
Mr. Dansky will participate on the “Ensuring Successful Technology Transfer and IP Ownership Agreements” panel. This session will focus on the importance of understanding IP ownership and technology transfer liabilities to ensure successful business and IP practices. Topics covered will included the patent filing process and strategy involving technology transfer, developing relationships with local investors, and inventor compensation. Mr. Dansky will also act as the chairperson for the April 13th sessions
