Brattle Principal Jurgen Weiss to Moderate Panel at Northeast Energy and Commerce Association Annual Conference
Jurgen Weiss, a principal in The Brattle Group’s Cambridge, MA office, will moderate a panel at the upcoming Northeast Energy and Commerce Association (NECA) conference, taking place June 7-8, 2010 in Providence, RI. The panel, “Financing New Developments,” will critically examine the sources of financing available to current developers of new projects and to what extent the incentive structures in place in New England, which include a combination of regional greenhouse gas initiatives, state renewable portfolio standards, and wholesale energy and capacity markets, provide adequate incentives for the desired generation infrastructure needed over the next ten to twenty years.
