Brattle Principal Gayle Koch Named Technical Contact for New ASTM Standard on Climate Change Financial Disclosure
ASTM International has just released standard E2718-10, "Financial Disclosures Attributed to Climate Change." Under development for the past two years, this new consensus standard provides guidance on processes for identifying, quantifying, and disclosing potential material impacts (both benefits and liabilities) related to climate change. Gayle Koch, a principal in The Brattle Group’s Cambridge office, led development of the standard over the last two years and has been named ASTM’s technical contact for the new standard.

Ms. Koch will discuss the new standard at an April 13th (noon - 1:30 pm EST) American Bar Association (ABA) webinar. The webinar will also present information on the recently released U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission guidance on climate change disclosure, and will provide an overview of climate change disclosure activities in Canada.
